Antigua and Barbuda are blessed with steady trade winds, usually between 15–25 knots. From December through August, you can expect reliable, consistent breeze that makes planning sessions easy and days on the water long and enjoyable.
Antigua is well connected with direct international flights from the US, UK and several European hubs. You’ll fly into V.C. Bird International Airport (ANU), and from there we’ll guide you on the short transfer to the marina.
The official currency is the Eastern Caribbean Dollar (XCD), though US Dollars are widely accepted across the islands. Credit cards are commonly used, especially in marinas, restaurants and larger establishments.
Visa requirements depend on your nationality, but many travelers from the US, UK and EU can enter visa-free for short stays. We recommend checking the latest entry requirements with your local embassy before traveling.
From the beginning of December through June, Antigua enjoys steady trade winds and dry, stable weather conditions. These months typically bring reliable 15–25 knot breeze, ideal for both kitesurfing and wing foiling.
Yes, many spots offer shallow, flat-water areas that are ideal for beginners, especially in protected lagoons. With steady trade winds and boat support when needed, conditions can be very accessible for those learning or progressing.
Because staying in one spot means missing most of what the islands offer. On a kiteboarding cruise, you move with the wind, waking up to new lagoons, empty reefs and sessions you simply can’t access from land, all while living onboard between rides.
Days start with breakfast onboard, followed by a morning kite or wing session as the trade winds build. We sail between islands and spots throughout the day, stopping for lunch onboard, with another session often unfolding in the afternoon before winding down with sunset drinks, chef-prepared dinners and relaxed evenings at anchor or ashore.
Yes, all meals onboard are included, and our amazing chef will take care of you with a wide variety of fresh, seasonal recipes and drinks throughout the week. There is also the possibility of enjoying two dinners on land, giving you the chance to experience the local cuisine and atmosphere of the islands.
Yes , Antigua is one of the Caribbean’s most established sailing destinations, with well-charted waters and protected anchorages. With our experienced captain onboard and careful route planning, conditions are safe and comfortable throughout the season.
